The entire set of this show is available at Brooklyn Vegan. I've been waiting for years to shoot at this place. It's very difficult to shoot but the venue is beautiful and the acoustics are gorgeous. I had only a spot in front of the balcony (i.e. 30 feet from the stage) and I couldn't wander around. The camera has to also be covered with a sound blimp to muffle the clickity-clack of the shutter making it far harder to change lenses and compose.
I knew this coming in and just enjoyed myself. I mean, it's St. Vincent, David Byrne, and Bon Iver on the same stage in a gorgeous setting! It's a far cry from the days I used to try and sneak in my camera at this place. Speaking of sneaking stuff in. Someone managed to get a video of this collaboration out on the intarweb!
